The main window is visible as soon as you start KMLOCfg.
The main window of KMLOCfg contains a Menubar, a Toolbar and a Statusbar.
The function of the Menubar is explained in the section
3.2 Menu Entries.
The Toolbar provides short cuts for some of the menu commands.
Some of them are only available while a configuration is present.
The Statusbar gives you some brief hints of what's going on.
- Download:
Invokes the download of the configuration from the modem.
- Upload:
Invokes the upload of the configuration into the modem.
- New:
Creates a new configuration with standard settings.
- Edit...:
Opens the Edit Configuration Dialog
with the current configuration.
- Quit:
Closes KMLOCfg.
- Preferences...:
Opens the KMLOCfg Preferences Dialog.
- Show Toolbar:
Shows or hides the Toolbar.
- Show Statusbar:
Shows or hides the Statusbar.
- Contents:
Invokes the KDE help system with the KMLOCfg help pages displayed.
- About kmlocfg...:
Displays essential information about KMLOCfg.
The main window of KMLOCfg honors the following key bindings:
Ctrl+D
- Invokes the download of the configuration from the modem.
Ctrl+U
- Invokes the upload of the configuration into the modem.
Ctrl+Q
- Quits KMLOCfg.
Ctrl+S
- Switches the Statusbar on or off.
Ctrl+T
- Switches the Toolbar on or off.
F1
- Displays the KMLOCfg help pages.
